Read this before you use PerpBrain with any strategy that could affect real money.
Limits you set; losses are still possible
PerpBrain lets an owner set limits (such as leverage, order size, daily loss stop, open positions, slippage and stale-data halts) that an agent cannot raise. These limits are tools you configure, not a promise of any outcome. They can fail, be misconfigured, be bypassed by software outside PerpBrain, or be overtaken by fast markets, outages or venue behaviour. You can lose some or all of the money you trade.
No advice
Nothing PerpBrain produces — data, signals, simulations, receipts, templates, examples or documentation — is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation. Signals such as funding extremes or order-book imbalance are descriptive measurements, not instructions to trade. Example strategies exist to show how the software works.
Simulated results are not indicative of future results
Simulations are models built on historical or snapshot data and assumptions. They include fees, order-book slippage and funding, but they do not currently model queue position or liquidations, and every receipt states what is not modelled. A strategy can be over-fitted to the past; an out-of-sample check and a "too good to be true" warning reduce but do not remove that risk. Live results can and often do differ materially from simulated results. "Verified and reproducible" means another person can re-run the same inputs and get the same output; it does not mean the result is realistic or repeatable in live markets.
Perpetual futures and crypto-asset risks
- Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains; positions can be liquidated quickly.
- Volatility: crypto-asset prices can move sharply in seconds.
- Funding: funding payments can turn a position unprofitable.
- Liquidity: thin order books mean large orders move prices against you.
- Venue and protocol risk: Hyperliquid or any venue may suffer outages, bugs, exploits, oracle errors, governance changes or loss of assets. PerpBrain has no control over it.
- Smart-contract and bridge risk, and stablecoin risk (USDC can de-peg or be frozen by its issuer).
- Regulatory risk: rules on virtual assets in the UAE and elsewhere change, and may restrict your activity.
Software and agent risk
AI agents can misread instructions, loop, or act unexpectedly. Software can have bugs. Data feeds can lag or be wrong. You are responsible for testing, monitoring and supervising any agent you run, and for securing your own keys. Use the kill switch and keep human oversight.
Your responsibility
Only trade with money you can afford to lose entirely. Consider independent professional advice. Make sure your activity is lawful where you live; PerpBrain does not check that for you.
